Asja Mosconi

Ignas Maknickas

Asja Mosconi is an Italian cellist who studied in Italy before continuing her training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her artistic journey has taken her across Italy, the United Kingdom, and Lithuania, combining an active performing career with a growing commitment to developing cultural projects that bring together artists, students, and audiences.

At Erba Piano Festival, she contributes a deep sensitivity to musical excellence, a strong focus on the participant experience, and a commitment to creating an international, welcoming, and inspiring environment. As Artistic Director, she helps shape the festival's vision and supports its growth as a place for artistic exchange, education, and community.

Ignas Maknickas is a Lithuanian-American pianist, born in California and raised in Lithuania. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the guidance of Joanna MacGregor CBE, completing his Bachelor's, Master's, and Advanced Diploma while receiving the Queen's Commendation for Excellence.

Winner of the Young Classical Artists Trust and the Keyboard Prize of the Royal Over-Seas League, he has performed at leading concert halls and festivals including Wigmore Hall, Auditorium du Louvre, Konzerthaus Berlin, and St George's Bristol. At Erba Piano Festival, he brings his experience as an international concert pianist together with an artistic vision centred on listening, musical excellence, and the development of young pianists.
